Before You Ride: A 10-Minute Hip Opening Routine

As riders, we’re constantly focusing on making our legs longer and our core more stable. What we forget about, though, is how important it is to have open, flexible hips. This is especially important when we start working beyond the rising trot. We need our hips to be able to move with the motion of our horse and the saddle.

No matter where you’re at in your riding, before you head to the barn, give this hip mobility routine a try.
