Check Your Feet!

Motor control check!

Try this:

Standing or seated with your feet on the floor (no shoes!).. Lift ONLY your big toes up. Once you have that, try and raise each consecutive toe up.

Technically this is a movement we should be something we can all do.. But I know it’s not easy for me.

Why?

Probably because we spend a lot of our time in shoes, due to obvious reasons. However, while shoes do many things (like protect us from the elements), they also take all the work away from the many muscles in our feet. And if muscles don’t work- they shut off. Our feet can influence our entire body… So start thinking about them more!

Add this exercise in daily, walk without shoes more when you can, and see what happens!
